Atlas Copco Ranks at Forefront of Sustainability Index

As the world's leading provider of industrial productivity solutions, Atlas Copco once again ranked at the forefront of Dow Jones Sustainable Development Index (2014/2015) among industries. The index rankings give out global leaders in sustainable development.
 
"The good news is that this widely respected index rankings again chose Atlas Copco," Mala Chakraborti, vice president of Atlas Copco's corporate responsibility, said, "This is our achievement of continuous efforts paid to sustainable productivity."
 
As a top company in mechanical and electrical equipment industry, Atlas Copco has achieved excellent results in environmental policy / management system, environmental reporting, risk and crisis management.
 
Dow Jones Sustainability World Index has evaluated more than 2,500 listed companies worldwide, of which only 10% of companies are shortlisted on the index list. Some companies demonstrated its ability to manage sustainable development in order to attract investment. This index can assess and measure these companies on those aspects, as well as other factors, such as climate policy, labor standards, occupational health and safety, and emerging markets strategy.
 
Dow Jones Sustainability Index Ranking is based on the research results of RobecoSAM, which is a professional and prestigious investment group cooperated with S&P 500. As we all know, sustainability leaders are always superior to peers on financial aspects for a long period.
 
Earlier this year, Atlas Copco ranked seventh in the Newsweek Global Green Ranking, which is an authoritative ranking of sustainable development in the world. It was also named one of the top 100 annual global most sustainable companies and attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
